resistance, Exage Multi-Purpose mono line is set to become the benchmark
in reel lines. Angling has changed dramatically over the last decade
with vast majority of fishing now revolving around commercial carp
fisheries. Demands on tackle have consequently increased with reel line
taking the brunt of the strain. When the cast is made the line between
the loaded terminal tackle and the reel gets an instant shock loading
and inferior lines suffer from breakage's at this point &
'crack-offs' can occur.
However the acid test comes when the fish are hooked and constant
powerful cranking of the reel is required to prevent them from
getting up to speed and taking line from the reel. This aggressive style
stretches and overloads the reel lines to the limit by dragging it over
hardened rod rings causing an incredible amount of friction and heat
build up, which weakens many standard monofilament nylons by changing
